Langport
Langport is a town as well as civil parish in Somerset, England, 5 miles (8.0 km) west of Somerton in the South Somerset area. The parish (which covers just part of the town) has a population of 1,081. Langport is contiguous with Huish Episcopi, a separate church that consists of much of the town's outskirts. Langport rests on the eastern bank of the River Parrett, below the point where that river is signed up with by the River Yeo (Ivel).
