Broxburn is a town within West Lothian, Scotland. The village which later became Broxburn probably was established around 1350 when Margery le Cheyne inherited the east half of the Barony of Strathbrock (Easter Strathbrock) when her father, Sir Reginald le Cheyne III, died.
