Corwen
Corwen is a town, community and also electoral ward in the area of Denbighshire in Wales; it was formerly part of the area of Merioneth. Corwen depends on the banks of the River Dee under the Berwyn mountains. The community is situated 10 miles (16 km) west of Llangollen and 13 miles (21 kilometres) south of Ruthin. At the 2001 Census, Corwen had a population of 2,398, lowering to 2,325 at the 2011 census. The neighborhood consists of the villages of Carrog and Glyndyfrdwy. The built-up area according to Nomis was 477 however does not consist of the estate of Clawdd Poncen. Including Clawdd Poncen the total amount is 777. Found in the hills of north Wales, the major economy of Corwen is based around farming. The town's primary company is neighborhood trailer maker Ifor Williams Trailers, begun by a farmer looking to transfer sheep to the neighborhood market.
