Burry Port
Burry Port is a town on the borders of Llanelli in Carmarthenshire, Wales, pushing the Loughor tidewater (Moryd Llwchwr). The town's population was 4,209 in the 2001 census and 4,240 in 2012. The town is residence to a harbour and is where Amelia Earhart landed as the first female to fly throughout the Atlantic Sea. The Pembrey Burrows sand dune as well as marsh system, house to a nation park and the Cefn Sidan sands, exist nearby.
