Knebworth

Knebworth is a town and civil parish in the north of Hertfordshire, England, immediately south of Stevenage. The civil parish covers a location between the towns of Datchworth, Woolmer Green, Codicote, Kimpton, Whitwell, St Paul's Walden as well as Langley, and encompasses the village of Knebworth, the little town of Old Knebworth and Knebworth House. There is proof of people staying in the location as far back as Neolithic times and it is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 where it is described as Chenepeworde (the ranch coming from the Dane, Cnebba) with a population of 150. The initial village, currently referred to as Old Knebworth, developed around Knebworth House. Development of the newer Knebworth town began in the late 19th century centred a mile to the east of Old Knebworth on the new train station and also the Great North Road (consequently the A1, as well as currently the B197 given that the opening of the A1(M) freeway in 1962). At the turn of the century the architect Edwin Lutyens developed Homewood, southeast of Old Knebworth, as a dower home for Edith Bulwer-Lytton. Her little girl, the suffragette Constance Lytton likewise lived there, till right before her death in 1923. Knebworth has, considering that 1974, been famously related to numerous major open air rock as well as pop performances at Knebworth House, including Queen's final real-time efficiency which took place on 9 August 1986 and drew a participation estimated at 125,000, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Oasis playing to a quarter of a million individuals for 2 evenings in 1996 as well as even more just recently Robbie Williams, that for 3 nights in August 2003 executed to the largest crowds ever assembled for a solitary entertainer. what insurance does a painter need?

What Insurance Does A Painter Need?

As a painter, you’re most likely going to require three forms of insurance which includes public liability, income protection as well as tool insurance. However, you should take note that outside these three, there are also several other forms of insurance whose relevance will only be determined by the nature of your business. Now let’s take a closer look into the three most important forms of insurance for painters.

✓ Public liability. What’s surprising here is the fact that many painters are actually aware that they should have a public liability insurance, but only a few really knows what it actually covers. Essentially, what a public liability insurance does is to protect you in the event whereby you messed up and some else suffers a loss as a result of your actions. Third parties can suffer a property damage or personal injury as a result of your negligence. It does not in any way cover the damages to your own property or injuries suffered by you or your staff.

✓ Income protection. As a subcontractor or self employed painter, you’ll be in the best position to know that if you don’t work, there’ll be no money for you. And with no sick leave and possibly no workers’ compensation, then financial problem looms. But not to worry, you can protect yourself from this risk by getting an income protection insurance.

✓ Tool insurance. It’s always a terrible feeling when you go to the site only to discover your tools such as ladders, spray guns, trestles and equipment are suddenly no where to be found. Upon discovery of this situation, you’ll start thinking about the cost of replacing all the tools. With a tool insurance, you can be protected against these sort of situations whereby your tools are stolen, damaged and lots more.
