Stirling
Stirling is the smallest city in Scotland and it has a populace of only 45,750. The city preserves a lot of its historical significance and was built about a large fortress and medieval old town. Its city standing is reasonably new, only being granted in 2002 as part of the Queen's Golden Jubilee events. Whilst the city does keep a traditional appeal, Stirling has modernised recently and widened to accommodate an evergrowing population.
