Sawbridgeworth
Sawbridgeworth is a town as well as civil parish in Hertfordshire, England, near the border with Essex. It is 12 miles (19 kilometres) east of Hertford and also 9 miles (14 km) north of Epping. Underlying the community at some depth is the London Clay stratum, with a thick layer of Boulder clay set during the glacial epoch, including the Anglian. The soil on top of this is a loam, with erratics of Hertfordshire puddingstone empire discovered around the community. Sawbridgeworth is controlled by Hertfordshire Region Council, along with becoming part of East Hertfordshire District Council. Hertfordshire has a two-tier system of management, with an area council and also district councils. The community council currently has 12 councillors, covering both Sawbridgeworth and also Spellbrook. Sawbridgeworth has its own on-call station house, situated in Station Road. It is part of Hertfordshire Fire and also Rescue Service. Sawbridgeworth has been twinned with Bry-sur-Marne in France because 1973.
