Saltburn-by-the-sea
Saltburn-by-the-Sea is a seaside town in Redcar and also Cleveland, North Yorkshire, England, around 12 miles (19 km) south east of Hartlepool. It exists within the historical borders of the North Riding of Yorkshire. It has a population of around 6,000. The advancement of Middlesbrough and Saltburn was driven by the discovery of iron stone in the Cleveland Hills and the structure of 2 trains to carry the minerals. The coastline at Saltburn exists virtually east-west, as well as along much of it runs Marine Parade. To the east of the town is the enforcing Hunt Cliff, topped by Warsett Hill at 166 metres (545 ft). Skelton Beck runs through the wooded Valley Gardens in Saltburn, then together with Saltburn Miniature Railway before being signed up with by Saltburn Gill going under the A174 road bridge as well as getting in the North Sea across the sandy beach. The A174 road number is now made use of for the Skelton/Brotton Bypass.
