Delabole
Delabole is a large town in north Cornwall, England, UK. It is located about 2 miles (3 kilometres) west of Camelford. It remains in the civil church of St Teath. The town of Delabole came into existence in the early 20th-century; it is called after the Delabole Quarry. 3 districts: Pengelly, Meadrose (noticable "médroze") as well as Rockhead, and also the district of Delabole south of the quarry are shown on the earliest one-inch Ordnance Survey map of 1813. When the railway arrived, the terminal was called Delabole after the quarry, and the three communities were absorbed right into Delabole. It is stated to be the third greatest town in Cornwall. Treligga army airfield and also HMS Vulture II, an aerial bombing and also gunnery range, were located west of the village. Delabole lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
