Cradley Heath
Cradley Heath is a village and ward in the Rowley Regis area of the borough of Sandwell, West Midlands, England. It exists within the Black Country, regarding 2 1/2 miles (4.0 km) south of Dudley and 8 miles (13 kilometres) west of central Birmingham. Cradley Heath is commonly confused with adjoining Cradley in Halesowen, although the two locations have long been in separate regional authorities, and up until 1966 remained in different areas. Cradley Heath is one of a number of communities in main England still recognisable from their early 20th-century look. A lot of the shops as well as houses in the High Street are still standing after 100 years, though some were knocked down in the mid-2000s to make way for a bypass, to reduce blockage in the community centre.
