Burgess Hill
Burgess Hill is really a civil parish in addition to a town chiefly located in the Mid Sussex district of West Sussex, England, close to the boundary with East Sussex, within the fringe of the South Downs National Park. Situated 62 km (39 mi) south of London, 16 km (9.9 mi) north of Brighton and Hove, and 47 km (29 mi) east-northeast of the county town of Chichester, it occupies a region of 9.47 km2 (3.66 sq mi) together with a populace of 28,803 during the 2001 Census, which makes it the most populous parish in the area. Other close by towns include Haywards Heath to the north east and Lewes, the county town of East Sussex, to the south east.
