Bexley

The London Borough of Bexley is a London borough in south-east London, England. It shares its borders with the London Borough of Bromley to the south and the Royal Borough of Greenwich towards the west. Across the River Thames towards the north it borders the London Borough of Havering, the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and there is a smaller boundary with the unitary authority of Thurrock in Essex towards the north-east. There's a border with Dartford borough towards the east and Sevenoaks district towards the south-east, each being inside the ceremonial county of Kent. The London Borough of Bexley is within the Thames Gateway, an area designated as a national priority for urban regeneration. The borough covers an overall area of 23.38 square miles. Based on estimates collected in the middle of 2014, it features a permanent population of about 239865 people. The map of Bexley shows that a big proportion of its area comprises suburbia. Some named areas, like Albany Park and Barnehurst, are names provided to developments engendered by the building of the railways. A fair number came into being when significant estates and farmland had been broken up for the sole objective of suburban building. These include Blackfen, Lamorbey and part of Falconwood. Others simply reflect the nature of the area, like Lessness Heath, Longlands, which is part of Sidcup, Northumberland Heath and West Heath. The local authority is Bexley London Borough Council. In spite of the suburbia, there are nevertheless open spaces among the borough's streets and avenues. The Borough owns and maintains more than 100 parks and open spaces, big and small; and there's still a part of the Erith Marshes bordering the River Thames. For all of your residence upgrades, make sure that you employ trustworthy specialists in Bexley to ensure you get the most effective quality.

FAQs

What’s LPG?

LPG stands for liquid petroleum gas. It’s a by-product of refined crude oil. When it’s put under pressure, LPG turns into a liquid. It’s usually stored in this form. LPG is used as fuel for things like BBQs and camping stoves, as well as central heating.

How do I know when I need more fuel delivering for my LPG boiler?

Your LPG storage tank should have a gauge that shows you how much fuel it has in it. Most LPG suppliers suggest that you arrange a fuel delivery when the level in your tank gets down to about 20%. Make regular checks, particularly in the winter when you will use more, so you know when levels are low.

Where can I put an LPG storage tank?

Your LPG storage tank will need to go outside your property, possibly underground if you have limited space. There are planning rules that restrict where you can put your tank, especially if your property is listed or on designated land. Take a look at our planning permission article to find out more.

How do I get fuel for my LPG boiler?

If you choose to install an LPG boiler, you’ll need to find an LPG supplier. They’ll deliver fuel to you every time your storage tank runs low. You can even rent a storage tank from them if you don’t want to buy one. Make sure you know who your local suppliers are and where they are based.
