Bagillt
Bagillt is a small town as well as community ignoring the Dee Tidewater, near Holywell in Flintshire, Wales. At the 2001 Census the population was recorded as 3,918, enhancing to 4,165 at the 2011 census. The area also includes the towns of Walwen as well as Whelston. Bagillt rests on a former area of the A548 road. A by-pass was integrated in the late 1960s for the A roadway. Facilities include a community-run collection, resumed in 2014 adhering to closure by Flintshire County Council in 2011, a couple of local shops, bars and park. The Wales Coast Path travels through Bagillt alongside the River Dee, and also the Bagillt Heritage Society have signposted a Heritage and Industrial Route from the Wales Coast Path to various sites around the village. The Bagillt Heritage Culture additionally got the old sewer functions near the website of the previous Bagillt Railway Station for a future Neighborhood Gardens Project. Bagillt is also home to two region primary schools, Ysgol Merllyn, situated in the main town location, and Ysgol Glan Aber, in Bagillt Boot End.
