Langport
Langport is a town and civil parish in Somerset, England, 5 miles (8.0 km) west of Somerton in the South Somerset area. The parish (which covers only part of the community) has a population of 1,081. Langport is contiguous with Huish Episcopi, a different parish that consists of much of the community's outskirts. Langport rests on the east bank of the River Parrett, below the factor where that river is signed up with by the River Yeo (Ivel).
