Lanark
Lanark is a village in the main belt of Scotland. The name is thought to find from the Cumbric Lanerc indicating "clear space, glade". Lanark is typically the county town of Lanarkshire, though there are a number of larger towns in the county. Lanark railway station as well as train station have constant solutions to Glasgow. There is little market in Lanark and some homeowners commute to work in Glasgow as well as Edinburgh. Its shops offer the regional agricultural area and also surrounding towns. There is a huge modern-day animals public auction market on the borders of the community. A long-term armed forces presence was established in the community with the conclusion of Winston Barracks in the 1930s.
