Driffield, also referred to as Great Driffield, is a market community and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The civil parish is created by the town of Driffield as well as the village of Little Driffield. By road, it is 70 miles (110 kilometres) north-east of Sheffield, 29 miles (47 kilometres) eastern of York, 23 miles (37 kilometres) north of Hull, 72 miles (116 kilometres) south-east of Middlesbrough, and also 218 miles (351 km) north of London. According to the 2011 UK census, Driffield church had a population of 13,080, a rise on the 2001 UK census figure of 11,477.
