An engineered wooden door is a door made out of multiple pieces of wood. This is opposed to solid wooden doors that are made out of one piece of wood.Engineered wooden doors are usually covered by veneer to make them look like they are made from one piece of wood. They tend to be sturdier and straighter than solid doors.
Queenborough
Queenborough is a small town on the Isle of Sheppey in the Swale district of Kent in South East England. Queenborough is 2 miles (3 km) south of Sheerness. It grew as a port near the Thames Estuary at the westward entryway to the Swale where it joins the River Medway. It remains in the Sittingbourne and Sheppey legislative constituency. Queenborough Harbour supplies moorings in between the Thames and also Medway. It is possible to land at Queenborough on any tide and there are boat building contractors and chandlers in the marina. Admiral Lord Nelson is reputed to have learned a lot of his seafaring abilities in these waters, as well as also shared a house near the tiny harbour with his girlfriend, Lady Hamilton. Queenborough today still shows something of its initial 18th-century seafaring background, from which period most of its even more famous buildings make it through. The church is the sole surviving feature from the middle ages period. The town was first stood for by 2 members of parliament in 1572. At the 2001 UK census, the church of Queenborough had a population of 3,471.
