An engineered wooden door is a door made out of multiple pieces of wood. This is opposed to solid wooden doors that are made out of one piece of wood.Engineered wooden doors are usually covered by veneer to make them look like they are made from one piece of wood. They tend to be sturdier and straighter than solid doors.
Montacute
Montacute is a small town and civil parish in Somerset, England, 4 miles (6.4 kilometres) west of Yeovil. The town has a population of 831 (2011 census). The name Montacute is thought by some to derive from the Latin "Mons Acutus", referring to the conically intense St Michael's Hill dominating the town to the west. An alternate view is that it is called after Drogo de Montagu, whose household originated from Montaigu-les-Bois, in the arrondissement of Coutances. Mortain held Montacute after 1066, Drogo was a close partner. The village is constructed nearly entirely of the neighborhood hamstone. From the 15th century till the start of the 20th century it developed the heart of the estate of the Phelips household of Montacute House. The village has a great medieval church, as well as was the website of a Cluniac abbey, the gatehouse of which is now an exclusive house. At the centre of the town is a huge square known as the 'Borough' around which are grouped stunning cottages and also a club, the Phelips Arms; there is a 2nd pub and hotel positioned in the town, called the King's Arms.
