This is opposed to solid wooden doors that are made out of one piece of wood.Engineered wooden doors are usually covered by veneer to make them look like they are made from one piece of wood. They tend to be sturdier and straighter than solid doors.
Kingsbridge
Kingsbridge is a market community and also vacationer center in the South Hams district of Devon, England, with a population of 6,116 at the 2011 census. 2 electoral wards birth the name of Kingsbridge (East & North). Their consolidated population at the above census was 4,381. It is located at the north end of the Kingsbridge Tidewater, a ria that reaches the sea six miles south of the town. It is the 3rd biggest negotiation in the South Hams as well as is 32 miles (51 kilometres) south-southwest of Exeter. The town created around a bridge which was built in or before the 10th century in between the royal estates of Alvington, to the west, and Chillington, to the eastern, for this reason giving it the name of Kyngysbrygge ("King's bridge"). In 1219 the Abbot of Buckfast was granted the right to hold a market there, and by 1238 the negotiation had come to be a district. The manor continued to be in possession of the abbot till the Dissolution of the Monasteries, when it was approved to Sir William Petre. Kingsbridge was never represented in Parliament or included by charter, the city government being by a portreeve. It lay within the hundred of Stanborough.
