An engineered wooden door is a door made out of multiple pieces of wood. This is opposed to solid wooden doors that are made out of one piece of wood.Engineered wooden doors are usually covered by veneer to make them look like they are made from one piece of wood. They tend to be sturdier and straighter than solid doors.
Dunmow
Great Dunmow is a historic market town and also civil parish in the Uttlesford district of Essex, England. It is located on the north of the A120 road, roughly midway between Bishop's Stortford and Braintree, 6 miles east of London Stansted Airport. Originally the site of a Roman negotiation on Stane Street, the town flourished throughout the Middle Ages. Numerous structures endure from this period, including a sixteenth-century city center. Dunmow means "Meadow on capital". [4] The negotiation was variously described as Dunmow Magna, Much Dunmow, or the majority of commonly Great Dunmow. Great Dunmow surrounds the previous estate of Easton Lodge in the adjoining parish of Little Easton, a lodge coming from the Maynard family. The most remarkable member, Frances Maynard, ended up being the Countess of Warwick and later a girlfriend of King Edward VII. As the Prince of Wales he was supposedly a routine visitor to the Estate, taking a trip from London on the train to Easton Lodge train station. The initials "CW" are visible on a number of Victorian period residential or commercial properties in Great Dunmow. Known as Daisy Greville, Countess of Warwick she was a generous benefactor in the local community. As of 2018, Robert Nicholson is Emeritus Mayor of Great Dunmow.
