Bifold doors are generally very low maintenance. They will only need infrequent cleaning and occasionally you may need to oil the track mechanism to ensure smooth opening. Speak to your installer and ask about general housekeeping and long lasting treatments.
Dunmow
Great Dunmow is a historical market town and civil parish in the Uttlesford district of Essex, England. It is situated on the north of the A120 road, around midway between Bishop's Stortford as well as Braintree, 6 miles east of London Stansted Airport. Initially the site of a Roman settlement on Stane Street, the town prospered throughout the Middle Ages. Several buildings make it through from this duration, including a sixteenth-century city center. Dunmow means "Meadow on the Hill". [4] The settlement was variously described as Dunmow Magna, Much Dunmow, or a lot of typically Great Dunmow. Great Dunmow borders the former estate of Easton Lodge in the adjoining church of Little Easton, a country house belonging to the Maynard household. One of the most notable member, Frances Maynard, came to be the Countess of Warwick and also later on a girlfriend of King Edward VII. As the Prince of Wales he was apparently a regular site visitor to the Estate, travelling from London on the train to Easton Lodge train station. The initials "CW" show up on a number of Victorian age residential properties in Great Dunmow. Called Daisy Greville, Countess of Warwick she was a generous benefactor in the local area. Since 2018, Robert Nicholson is Emeritus Mayor of Great Dunmow.
