An engineered wooden door is a door made out of multiple pieces of wood. This is opposed to solid wooden doors that are made out of one piece of wood.Engineered wooden doors are usually covered by veneer to make them look like they are made from one piece of wood. They tend to be sturdier and straighter than solid doors.
Belgravia
Belgravia is a district in West London inside the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It consists of extremely high priced properties and it is considered to be one of the wealthiest districts in the world. It lies south west of Buckingham Palace. The district gets its name from one of the Duke of Westminster’s subsidiary titles, Viscount Belgrave.
Belgravia’s Grosvenor Estate is still owned by a family property company, namely the Duke of Westminster’s Grosvenor Group. However, the estate has been required to sell a good deal of its freeholds to its tenants, due to the Leasehold Reform Act 1967.
The majority of Belgravia was previously owned by Richard Grosvenor, 2nd Marquess of Westminster, who developed it in the course of the 1820s and onwards. Thomas Cubitt mainly worked on the project. You will find a lot of grand terraces at white stucco houses focused around Belgrave Square and Eaton Square. Several embassies are situated in this area, particularly in Belgrave Square.
Pimlico Road, on the southern side of Belgravia, is well known for its antique shops and high-end furniture showrooms. One established brand along the road is Arthur Brett. In spite of these shops, it’s a quiet district of London and neighbouring districts are considerably busier with a lot more shops, offices and hotels.
