Garden sheds are a critical component of any practical garden space. They can provide storage for bulky garden tools, as well as for other equipment. A sizeable shed may offer enough room for plant potting or a general workshop. Alternatively, a sizeable shed could be used as an inside seating area. Garden sheds come in a large selection of sizes and can be specified to your particular needs, giving you total control over the number and position of windows, type, size and location of door, and design of roof. Garden sheds commonly are available in one of three materials. Wooden sheds are the typical design and can be integrated well into any garden creating a natural look, especially if the wood used for the shed is matched to surrounding fences. Wooden sheds remain very popular, although they will need maintenance by retreating or staining the wood to maintain the lifespan of the shed. Garden sheds are also made of metal, which is very durable and therefore great for storage of tools and other equipment. Metal sheds additionally require very little maintenance. The final material for garden sheds is plastic, which in modern examples is a lot more durable than might be expected. When considering a garden shed, it's crucial to make sure that you pick one which will fit in your garden space. Garden sheds should be sited on a level area, and will need a base to be built as a foundation. This base could be produced from either concrete, paving, gravel or a floating timber base, but will need to be the right size for your shed and capable of supporting the weight of your shed when loaded.
The typical cost of Garden shed is £600. Costs vary based on the materials and the organisation selected. The upper price range can be as high as £690. The material costs are typically around £150

Fort William is a settlement in the Highlands of Scotland. Initially built upon the still-extant village of Inverlochy, the town sits at the southern end of the Great Glen, Fort William is located near the head of Loch Linnhe, among Scotland's longest sea lochs, alongside the mouth of the rivers Nevis and Lochy. It is close to Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British Isles, Glen Nevis and the town of Achnaphubuil is on the opposite coast of the loch. When the railway opened to Fort William on 7 August 1894, the station was given prime position at the south side of the town. The result was that the town was disconnected from the lochside by train tracks prior to the 1970s when the current by-pass was constructed, and the station was re-located to the north side. In accordance with the 2001 Census, it has a permanent resident population of close to 9908. This makes Fort William the 2nd largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger. Within this population, around 726 people, representing 7.33 per cent of the population, can speak Gaelic. Fort William is a significant tourism centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. It is a centre for hillwalking and climbing a result of its vicinity to Ben Nevis and several other Munro mountains. It is also known for its close-by downhill mtb track. It is the start and end of both the West Highland Way (Milngavie-Fort William) and the Great Glen Way (a walk/cycle way Fort William-Inverness). For all your home renovations, make sure to identify trustworthy experts in Fort William to make certain of quality.

Try to put your shed in open space, away from trees, bushes and other buildings. This will help to protect it from falling branches and sap. It will also mean that you can access all sides of the shed for repair and maintenance purposes. Make sure you take a look at garden shed planning rules before you pick a final spot for your shed.
