Camborne
Camborne is a town and civil parish in west Cornwall. It forms the western edge of a conurbation consisting of Camborne, Pool and Redruth. Numerous settlements comprise the civil parish, like Beacon, Croft Mitchell, Higher Condurrow, Penponds, Roskear Croft, Treswithian Downs and Troon. The town was among the richest tin mining areas in the world during the 18th and 19th centuries, which considerably transformed the town and its landscape.
