Barton-upon-Humber or Barton is a town and civil parish in North Lincolnshire, England. In accordance with the 2011 Census, the town features a permanent resident population of about 11066 people. The significance of the human remains is in the way they represent the pathology of an isolated community over the period of time between 950 and 1850.
