One of the major advantages with a garage conversion would be that the space can be transformed quickly for the extra room you would like, whether it's for a growing family or simply just to add to the price of your home.

A garage conversion suggests you won't need to relocate for more space, which may save a lot of money on solicitor charges, estate agent payments and stamp duty. And the extra space could be transformed into what you need, no matter whether it's an expansion to the living area or kitchen, or even a separate room entirely.

With the structure already in position it's evident that a garage conversion will probably be less expensive than creating an extension as well, and won't consume valuable space within your garden. With the exterior unlikely to change as well, it's a good way to bypass restrictions for conservation areas as well as listed buildings.
