Kyle
Kyle of Lochalsh is a village in the historic region of Ross-shire on the northwest coastline of Scotland, situated around 55 miles (90 km) west-southwest of Inverness. It is located on the Lochalsh peninsula, at the entryway to Loch Alsh, opposite the village of Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye. A ferryboat used to attach both towns till it was changed by the Skye Bridge, concerning a mile (1.6 km) to the west, in 1995.
