Helston is a town and civil parish in Cornwall, England in the United Kingdom. It is located at the northern edge of the Lizard Peninsula roughly 12 miles (19 kilometres) east of Penzance and 9 miles (14 kilometres) south-west of Falmouth. Helston is the most southerly town on the island of Great Britain and is around 1.5 miles (2.4 km) further south than Penzance. Helston is set along the banks of the River Cober in Cornwall.
