Delabole
Delabole is a big village in north Cornwall, England, UK. It is situated about two miles (3 kilometres) west of Camelford. It is in the civil parish of St Teath. The village of Delabole originated in the early 20th-century; it is named after the Delabole Quarry. 3 hamlets: Pengelly, Meadrose (obvious "médroze") and also Rockhead, and the district of Delabole southern of the quarry are revealed on the earliest one-inch Ordnance Survey map of 1813. When the train showed up, the station was called Delabole after the quarry, and also the three hamlets were absorbed into Delabole. It is claimed to be the third highest possible village in Cornwall. Treligga armed forces landing strip and HMS Vulture II, an aerial bombing as well as gunnery array, were situated west of the village.
