Rogart
Rogart is a tiny village in Sutherland, Highland, Scotland. The town was the residence of Major Andrew MacDonald, who combated in the French and Indian War. It was originally a spread crofting village, until the opening of the Rogart train station at Pittentrail 1 1/2 miles (2.4 kilometres) to the southeast. A more recent industrial town expanded after the arrival of the railway in 1886, with the older village continuing to be. The village of Golspie is 9 miles (14 kilometres) east of Rogart.
