This will depend on your property, but commonly painted areas include rendered walls, guttering, soffits and fascias, and window frames. Generally you can paint what you want but on older or listed buildings, you may be restricted. An experienced painter will tell you what is possible.
Lairg
Lairg is a village and parish in Sutherland, Scotland. It has a population of 891 and also is at the south-eastern end of Loch Shin. Lairg is uncommon in the north Highlands, otherwise one-of-a-kind, in being a huge negotiation that is not on the coastline. Among the factors that Lairg is slightly bigger than other non-coastal Highland towns is its main place within the area of Sutherland. Having four roads which meet in the village, it used to be known as "The Crossroads of the North". In the 19th century, it was supplied with a train station, on what is now the Far North Line. This growth indicates that the north-west of Sutherland is now much easier to reach. (The Far North Line links Inverness in the south with Thurso and Wick in the north.).
