Duns (population 2,594) is a town in the Scottish Boundaries, Scotland. It was the county town of the historic county of Berwickshire. Duns has the biggest buying facilities in a span of 15 miles (24 km) and also until 28 January 2015 housed the Berwickshire Sheriff Court, it no more has any major offices of the Scottish Borders Council, but simply retains a Registry Office.
