The town of Banbridge is within Northern Ireland's County Down. It's located around the River Bann along with a dual carriageway, with its name derived from a bridge that was constructed across the River Bann in 1712. It is included in the civil parish of Seapatrick plus the historic barony of Iveagh Upper, Upper Half. Banbridge is at present the administrative base for the Banbridge District Council. As recorded in the 2011 Census, the town has a population of about 16653. It is classed as a medium town and of the population, 24.4 percent were aged under 16 years, 16.1 percent were more than 60 years of age, and 49.5 percent were male, leaving 50.5% as female. In its early years, the town was a coach stop on the road between Belfast and Dublin, and it prospered from the manufacture of Irish linen. A striking part of the town is its unique main street, which rises to a steep hill ahead of levelling out. An underpass had to be built in 1834 as a result of the steep street causing horses carrying heavy loads to faint before they could get to the top . Built by William Dargan, it is officially named the Downshire Bridge, while it is regularly referred to as 'The Cut'. The town is extensively identified for being near to the Bronte Homeland in Rathfriland, attracting numerous tourists because of this. Another attraction is the annual busking festival, 'Buskfest', which has been running since 2004. Participants have typically travelled extended distances to perform, as well as the event ends with an evening concert consisting of performances by world-famous artists. For all your home improvement tasks, be certain that you work with vetted pros in Banbridge to ensure that you get the top quality service.

You can find out roughly how old your wiring is by simply looking at it. If the wiring around your fuse box is covered in old-fashioned casing, or is damaged or fraid, it may be over 25 years old and need replacing. This is more common in older properties or houses that have been empty for long periods of time.
How Much Does Pat Testing Cost?
When it comes to Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) there’s no particular rule that determines how much such services can cost. However as a rule of thumb, you should take note that when calling in a professional PAT testing company they’re likely to charge within the range of £1 to £3 per appliance that’s going to be tested. However, if you have quite a number of appliances to be tested, then there’s a good chance that the price per appliance can be reduced to serve as a bulk discount. So the more the appliances to be tested, the better.
There are companies that actually offer a pricing that’s below £1 per item, however companies likely are most definitely going to have a fixed minimum number of appliances that are required to be tested or a fixed minimum fee like 60 portable appliances. It must, however, be noted that pricing can also go beyond PAT Testing as several professional companies will add some additional advantages which is more than just the test of each individual appliance. This kind of pricing can include other services such as a thorough visual inspection, plug rewiring as well as fuse replacements. They can also include stuffs like Pail and Fail labels in the pricing.
Generally, the average price of PAT testing will be based on various influencing factors such as the type of the appliance, setting, number of appliance to be tested as well as other related expenses. What’s more? Most PAT companies will offer a company with a PAT Testing Certificate so as to certify that the company is in total compliance and also remains a safe environment to work.
Periodic testing and inspections should be completed: Every 10 years for your home, Every five years for rented accommodation, Every three years for a caravan, Every year for a swimming pool.Electrical inspections are also carried out when buying, selling or renting a property.
You should report any suspected faults to your landlord as soon as you know about them. It is their responsibility to investigate, and hire an electrician to do any work if needed. Know your obligations as a tenant and keep in touch with your landlord on a regular basis.
We can help you get more Electrical testing (pat testing) work and boost your business.
