Wemyss Bay
Wemyss Bay is a village on the coastline of the Firth of Clyde in Inverclyde in the west central Lowlands of Scotland. It is in the standard county of Renfrewshire. It is adjacent to Skelmorlie, North Ayrshire. The villages have constantly been in separate areas, separated by the Kelly Burn. Wemyss Bay is the port for ferries on the Sea Road to Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. Guests from the island can connect to Glasgow by trains, which end in the town at the remarkable Wemyss Bay train station, noted for its building top qualities and regarded as one of Scotland's finest railway buildings. The port is really revealed, so in high winds the ferries need to travel up river to Gourock to dock.
