It’s up to you what size gravel you use for your driveway, but there are some guidelines that are worth following. If you go too small, your gravel will get displaced easily. But, if you go too big, you driveway might be quite tricky to walk on. Generally, it’s a good idea to go for a gravel size somewhere between 10-20mm.
Isle Of Benbecula
Benbecula is an island of the Outer Hebrides, in the Atlantic Sea off the west shore of Scotland. In the 2011 census it had a normally resident population of 1,283, with a large percentage of Roman Catholics. It creates part of the location carried out by Comhairle nan Eilean Siar or the Western Isles Council. The island has to do with 12 km from west to east as well as a similar distance from north to southern. It exists in between the islands of North Uist and also South Uist; it is linked to both by road causeways. Travel to any of the other Hebridean islands, or to the British mainland, is by air or sea. Benbecula Airport on the island has day-to-day trips to Glasgow, Stornoway and also Barra. A direct solution to Inverness was introduced in 2006 however terminated in May 2007. There are no straight ferry services from Benbecula to the landmass, but a service run by Caledonian MacBrayne from Lochboisdale on South Uist offers a five-hour crossing to Oban on the mainland, whilst one more service from Lochmaddy on North Uist offers a two-hour crossing to Uig on the Inner Hebridean island of Skye, and for this reason to the landmass through the Skye Bridge. Ferry services from the islands of Berneray (linked by embankment to North Uist) and Eriskay (linked to South Uist) link to the various other Outer Hebridean islands of Harris and Barra specifically. There is a dense collection of lochs throughout almost the whole island, as well as almost all of the island is below 20 metres in elevation.
