Garve is a village on the Black Water river, in Ross-shire, and also remains in the Highland Council area of Scotland. It is positioned 5 miles (8 km) northwest of Contin, on the A835, the highway to Ullapool on the west shore, close to where the A832 branches off towards Achnasheen.
