Driveway surfacing materials like concrete, asphalt and clay brick usually crack because they’ve been exposed to extreme temperatures or put under high pressure. It’s important to repair driveway cracks before they get worse and cause damage to vehicles and perhaps others to trip on raised cracks.
Carrbridge
Carrbridge is a town in Badenoch and also Strathspey in the Scottish Highlands. It exists off the A9 on the A938, west of Skye of Curr, southeast of Tomatin, near Bogroy. It has the earliest rock bridge in the Highlands and also the nearby ancient yearn woodland contains the Landmark Forest Adventure Park. Carrbridge is about 10 km (6 mi) north of Aviemore and creates a gateway to the Cairngorms National Park. It was a very early centre for skiing in Scotland. In the 2001 census the village had a population of 708 individuals, with the majority used in tourism. Up until the 1980s bypass was built, the A9 ran straight via the town. Carrbridge is served by Carrbridge railway station on the Highland Main Line. Neighborhood discussion still raves regarding the name Carrbridge itself, with some favoring to see it hyphenated to Carr-bridge. Words "Carr" has nothing to do with motorised transportation but is stemmed from the Old Norse word for boggy location.
