Driveway work is usually done in the warmer half of the year. This is partly to avoid bad weather. If you want to get ahead and avoid waiting for a contractor to be free, you should try getting in touch with a professional in the early spring so a date can be booked for install as soon as practically possible.
Heriot
Heriot is a small village in the Moorfoot Hills southeast of Edinburgh, Scotland, within Eildon (part of the Scottish Borders council location, though historically in Midlothian). The village consists of some 150 homes, topped a geographical area of around 50 square miles (130 km2), a lot of which is moorland. Linked to the rest of the world mainly with the A7 road, Heriot had a train station from 1849 up until the branch line closures instigated by Beeching created the track to be boosted in the 1960s. The Scottish Parliament elected, in 2006, to restore the railway, however without a station at Heriot. The School (as of Sept 2016) has 36 pupils. There are numerous area groups operating in the town consisting of dramatization teams, WRI, a neighborhood choir and also a martial arts club. Places close to Heriot include Borthwick, Carcant, Crichton, Fala, Stow of Wedale as well as Innerleithen.
