Arlesey is a town and also civil parish in Bedfordshire. It is near the border with Hertfordshire, about 3 miles north-west of Letchworth Yard City, four miles north of Hitchin and 6 miles south of Biggleswade. Arlesey railway station offers services to London, Stevenage as well as Peterborough. The Domesday Publication mentions Arlesey.
