Pencader
Pencader is a little town in the Welsh region of Carmarthenshire, and is part of the Neighborhood and Parish of Llanfihangel-ar-Arth. It lies around 3 miles (5 kilometres) south-east of Llandysul and 6.5 miles (10 kilometres) south-west of Llanybydder, in the valley of the Gwen brook, quickly before the confluence with the River Talog, to form the River Tyweli (a tributary of the Teifi). It is a quiet town with bit greater than 500 homes, two stores, as well as 2 pubs. Pencader's background returns a long way. For years, it was just one of the primary stops on the Carmarthen - Aberystwyth rail path, as well as was the junction for the service to Newcastle Emlyn; the Pencader Tunnel made it possible for services to reach Carmathen via Llanpumsaint. The decrease of the trains saw the Newcastle Emlyn branch line closed in 1952 and also the main line closed to guests in 1965.
