Eye
Eye is a small market community in the north of the English region of Suffolk, about 4 miles (6 kilometres) south of Diss, 17 1/2 miles (28 km) north of Ipswich and 23 miles (37 kilometres) south-west of Norwich. It lies close to the River Waveney, which develops the border with Norfolk, and also it gets on the River Dove. Eye is twinned with the community of Pouzauges in the Vendée department of France. Eye today has a population of just over 2000. Hartismere School offers additional degree education and learning in the community and St Peter as well as St Paul CE Primary School offers main education. A health centre, a collection, police headquarters as well as kept fire station likewise serve the town. A neighborhood health center opened up in 2012 after the previous hospital closed in 2005.
