Rogart
Rogart is a small town in Sutherland, Highland, Scotland. The village was the house of Major Andrew MacDonald, that battled in the French and Indian War. It was originally a scattered crofting village, until the opening of the Rogart train station at Pittentrail 1 1/2 miles (2.4 kilometres) to the southeast. A newer industrial village grew after the arrival of the train in 1886, with the older town remaining. The town of Golspie is 9 miles (14 kilometres) east of Rogart.
