Invergarry
Invergarry (population 438) is a village in the Highlands of Scotland. It is in the Great Glen, near where the River Garry flows right into Loch Oich. Near the centre of the village is the joint between the A82 road (from Inverness to Ft William) and also the A87 road which branches off to the west in the direction of Skye. The ruined Invergarry Castle is located near the village on Creagan an Fhithich (the Raven's Rock), overlooking Loch Oich. In addition to playing host to the neighborhood shinty club, Glengarry Shinty Club, it is the house town of shinty legend, James Clark. It has a Primary School with a roll of 33.
