Composite doors have coloured skins rather than a coloured coating on their surface. This means that their colour is long-lasting and they don’t need repainting. If you want to change the colour of your composite door it’s best to ask the manufacturer about the best way to do this. This is because different composite doors are finished in different ways.
Boldon Colliery
The Boldons are a team of 3 little towns in the north east of England - East Boldon, West Boldon and also Boldon Colliery - north of Sunderland, eastern of Newcastle and southern of South Shields as well as Jarrow. They have a population of 13,271. Existing within the historical boundaries of County Durham, the towns are first recorded in print in 1170. Their names developed from the words "Bold" or "Botl", meaning a structure, as well as "dun", implying a hill. In 1866, work started sinking a pit that started producing coal in 1869, and was after that referred to as Boldon New Winning. The village that developed nearby in the 1870s became referred to as Boldon Colliery. When the mine was grown as well as expanded in the 1910s, more housing to fit the labor force was built to the south of the pit in a location known as Boldon New Town. Up until 1974 the area was carried out as an urban area of County Durham, however since then has belonged to the district of South Tyneside. In 1976, the Boldon Colliery Band appeared in episode 13 of the tv collection When the Boat Comes In. The mine closed in 1982 but even more jobs became available when an Asda grocery store opened in 1987. Recent growths include Boldon Business Park. Boldon Colliery also has its very own multi-screen cinema operated by Cineworld. The main secondary school in the area is Boldon School, a specialist sporting activities university.
