Trimdon Station
Trimdon (population 2,958) is a village in Area Durham, in England (earlier Tremeldon (1196) or Tremedon (1262 )). It is 9 miles west of Hartlepool, and also beside Trimdon Colliery, Trimdon Grange as well as Deaf Hill (additionally called Trimdon Station). Locally, to differentiate it from these it is known as Trimdon Village or merely "The Town". The main focal point of "The Town" is Saint Mary Magdalene church, which was created during the Norman duration (roughly 1145AD). Trimdon Labour Club (now closed) was the setting for some of the former prime minister and also constituency MP, Tony Blair's constituency speeches. Blair's local home remained in neighboring Trimdon Colliery.
