Stansted
Stansted Mountfitchet is an English village and civil parish in Uttlesford area, Essex, near the Hertfordshire border, 35 miles (56 kilometres) north of London. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 5,533, boosting to 6,011 at the 2011 census. The village is offered by Stansted Mountfitchet train station. Stansted Mountfitchet is located in north west Essex near the Hertfordshire boundary as well as 3 miles (5 km) north of Bishop's Stortford. Stansted Airport is 2 miles (3 kilometres) from the town. The town has three primary schools (Bentfield Primary School, St Mary's (C of E) Primary School as well as Magna Carta Primary Academy), and also one high school which was renamed the Forest Hall School in September, 2013.
