South Ockendon
South Ockendon is a town as well as Church of England parish in the Thurrock district as well as unitary area in Essex in the East of England, UK. It is located on the boundary with Greater London, just outside the M25 motorway. The area to the north is North Ockendon. South Ockendon town became a place for prefabricated houses (prefabs) accommodating bombed-out citizens of East London/West Essex in the extremely late 40s.
