Lanark
Lanark is a village in the central belt of Scotland. The name is thought to find from the Cumbric Lanerc indicating "clear space, glade". Lanark is traditionally the county town of Lanarkshire, though there are a number of bigger communities in the county. Lanark train station as well as coach station have frequent services to Glasgow. There is little industry in Lanark and also some residents commute to operate in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Its shops serve the neighborhood farming area as well as surrounding villages. There is a large contemporary livestock public auction market on the borders of the town. An irreversible military presence was developed in the community with the conclusion of Winston Barracks in the 1930s.
