very quick and efficient
Looking for a central heating boiler repair or service in Brackley? Our engineers in Brackley are going to supply you with the very best prices for having a central heating boiler repair or service carried out.
Boilers are some of the most important areas of any household, offering heat and hot water throughout the year. This means any issues need to be dealt with previous to becoming a significant problem.
In the heart of winter it can cost at least £200 simply in call-out charges for an engineer. This is prior to a cost of replacement components.
To prevent having to pay a significant amount of money, ensure to get your central heating boiler serviced every year so any problems can be found as soon as possible. Besides this, having a service will make sure your central heating boiler is operating efficiently, cutting your costs.
The service will even showcase any threat too, like a carbon monoxide leak. Carbon monoxide poisoning is liable for 100s of deaths and hospitalisations yearly, so make certain this doesn't happen to you.
We are able to offer you up to four engineers, who will provide quotes for the work. You'll get a house visit from experts in Brackley who will supply the boiler repair or service for a excellent price.
The regular cost of a boiler service is around £72, but you could pay anything between £58 and £100. The regular cost of a repair is £182 a time, but it depends on the repair. The regular cost of a replacement gas valve or expansion vessel, for example, is £300 each, plus labour of about £50 per hour. National companies may charge more than small local companies since they have more overheads. Youâll also find seasonal differences, as companies charge less in the summer when they are less busy than in the winter when they have lots of work.

Brackley is a town within south Northamptonshire. It is around 19 miles (31 kilometres) from Oxford and 22 miles (35 kilometres) from Northampton. Traditionally a market town primarily based on the wool and lace trade, it was constructed on the intersection of trade routes in between London, Birmingham and the English Midlands and between Cambridge and Oxford. Brackley has a population of 13,018 (2011 Census) which has grown significantly from 2,467 in 1901. The town was the site of a historically important meeting amongst the barons and representatives of the King in 1215, the year of the Magna Carta. In 1602, the metaphysical poet John Donne was elected as Member of Parliament for the Brackley constituency. Brackley is near the Silverstone racing circuit, and features some industry related to Formula One racing, particularly the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team which is primarily based in the town, along with the Force India F1 team which works in a wind tunnel on the former site of the town's north railway station. On the east edge of the town is H. Bronnley & Co., manufacturers of hand-made soaps who hold Royal Warrants of Appointment for supplying Queen Elizabeth II and the Prince of Wales. The Brackley Morris Men are 1 of only 7 'traditional Cotswold' Morris dancing sides remaining in England and the only one to survive in Northamptonshire. Their history dates back to the 1600s when a solid silver communion plate was given to the parish. The plate that is still in the possession of St Peters Church is dated 1623, and is inscribed with the names of seven men, whom local folklore believes to have been the morris dancers. Brackley offers football, rugby and tennis clubs. For all your house upgrades, make sure that you use trusted professionals in Brackley to ensure you get an excellent quality service.

How Long Does A Boiler Service Take?
Servicing of your boiler is a very crucial activity which does not only help in keeping your heating system in a top condition, but also assists in ensuring the safety of both you and your loved ones. If you carry out a regular boiler service you’ll be able to identify any possible fault your boiler may have on time before it leads to a more serious issue or even a boiler breakdown. As a result, you’ll be able to save yourself some time and money, but more importantly will save you from any dangerous risk that may result from gas leak in a boiler. The best time for a boiler service is in the summer when you’d probably would not really need the system, so you can take advantage of that as well as the possible lower boiler servicing cost during this period.
Before we look into the amount of time a boiler service should take, let’s first consider what should be done during a boiler service.
✓ Visual inspection. This is a check carried out by the heating engineer to ensure your boiler still meet the existing standards and requirements while also looking for any faults.
✓ Removal of boiler casing. There’s the need to ensure everything is working just fine and also to clean the boiler’s interior. These inspections should include the burner, heat exchanger, main injector and spark probe.
✓ Flue check. This involves making sure that there’s no form of obstructions in the flue terminals as also to ensure that the flue is well installed.
✓ Gas pressure check. This involves making sure that the boiler working with the appropriate pressure.
✓ Boiler fired up. This involves checking for any operating issues.
Generally, a boiler service should be completed within 30 minutes, however this time may vary largely depending on the brand and model.
If your boiler is leaking, there are some checks that you can do yourself. However, you should never attempt to repair your boiler yourself – only a Gas Safe-registered engineer should conduct repairs.
There are 3 main reasons why your boiler might be leaking: there’s a pressure valve fault, a temperature valve leak or corrosion in the system. An engineer will be able to spot the problem quickly, but in the meantime there are a few things you can do:
Check the pipe fittings
If your boiler is leaking water around the pipe fittings, it could be an installation fault and you should get in touch with the engineer that fitted it. You can check the pipe fittings by drying the area then waiting to see if the water appears again. If it does, you may be able to do a ¼ turn of the pipe to stop it. However, you should still call the engineer that installed it to ask them to check the PTFE tape on the inside.
Inspect the seals
Over time, the rubber seals on a boiler can start to perish, so if you have an old boiler this could be the source of your leak. If you have a new boiler, it could be caused by your boiler running over pressure.
Heat exchanger corrosion
Unfortunately, if a boiler engineer discovers that the boiler is leaking water from the heat exchanger, this is the end of the road for your system. The heat exchanger is the most expensive part of your boiler, so it makes more financial sense to replace your boiler with a newer, more efficient model rather than try to replace it.
No. You must never repair your own boiler – only a Gas Safe-registered engineer can do any work on your boiler. You can do simple DIY tasks to repressurise your boiler or stop a leak, but if you have to remove the outer casing of the boiler or touch the flue then you must get a qualified boiler engineer to take a look at your central heating system.
How Often To Service Boiler?
A boiler is a vital part of any home especially if you’re in the UK. Not only does provide your entire household with hot water and keep them warm but also adds a good value to your property. Boiler repairs and replacement are both super expensive and stressful, so in order to avoid all these worries, it’s better to have your boiler serviced on a regular basis for your own peace of mind. When you call in a reliable heating engineer, it can immensely raise your boiler’s efficiency while also saving you from more expensive issues down the road.
So if you haven’t had your boiler serviced for quite some time, moved into a new house and not aware the last time your boiler was serviced or perhaps you’re just wondering how often a boiler should be serviced, then you’ve come to the right place! The short and simple answer to this question is a boiler should should be serviced once in a year, and most preferably during the summer months. However, there are a wide range of factors that comes into play so it’s always advisable to check with your manufacturer before you proceed.
According to the law, you’re required to have your boiler services on an annual basis. Failure to do so can render your boiler or home warranty void. Therefore, it’s very crucial to take down the last time your boiler was serviced and also set a reminder to book your next appointment when the time closes in.
If you happen to own an electric boiler you may not need an annual servicing. But you may still be required to perform it annually by your insurance provider.
We can help you get more boiler repair and service work with our qualified job leads and boost your business.
