Stocksfield
Stocksfield is a little, yet stretching traveler town situated near the River Tyne, concerning 14 miles (23 kilometres) west of Newcastle upon Tyne in the southern part of Northumberland, England. There are several smaller sized communities within the parish of Stocksfield, including Branch End, New Ridley, Broomley, Hindley as well as the Painshawfield Estate. Other towns in Stocksfield's postal district include Bywell, Newton, Mickley, as well as Hedley on the Hill. Stocksfield is in the legislative constituency of Hexham. At a local level it is controlled by Stocksfield Parish Council. On 11 January 2019 the name of the church was formally transformed from "Broomley and Stocksfield" to Stocksfield, reflecting growths in the location as well as adjustments in population throughout the years.
